Pearce homers twice as Sox surge to title

A day after hitting a game-tying home run and a bases-clearing double as part of a four-RBI Game 4, Steve Pearce got the Red Sox going in Game 5 with a two-run homer off ace Clayton Kershaw in the first inning on Sunday. He went deep again in the eighth.
