Palka’s HR the only run as White Sox top Tribe

Carlos Rodon matched his career high with eight shutout innings and Daniel Palka led off the ninth with a walk-off home run to lead the White Sox to victory against the Indians on Friday night at Guaranteed Rate Field. Rodon scattered four hits, struck out five and walked two in the win. Cleveland starter Shane Bieber struck out eight over 6 2/3 scoreless frames, allowed three hits and walked two.
