Palka dots first hit, first homer in Game 1 win

Daniel Palka picked up his first Major League hit and home run, going 4-for-5 and propelling an 8-0 victory against the Royals in the first game of a split doubleheader on Saturday. Carson Fulmer tossed seven scoreless innings, helping preserve the bullpen for the nightcap. Matt Davidson was unable to homer against Kansas City pitching for the eight time this year, but he did collect three hits. The White Sox are now 5-0 against the Royals in 2018.
