Padres stun Rangers with 3-run rally in 8th

Hunter Renfroe’s go-ahead double capped a three-run rally in the eighth inning off Rangers reliever Jake Diekman as the Padres evened the series at one game apiece. Wil Myers got San Diego on the board with an RBI double and Christian Villanueva tied it with a sacrifice fly. Rougned Odor and Robinson Chirinos had put the Rangers in position to win with early solo homers, while Shin-Soo Choo extended his on-base streak to 39 games with a single in his final at-bat.
