O’Neill goes on DL; outfielder Garcia called up
The Cardinals placed rookie outfielder Tyler O’Neill on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to Saturday, with inflammation of the groin area and purchased the contract of rookie outfielder Adolis Garcia from Triple-A Memphis in advance of Monday’s game against the Marlins in Miami.
