O’Hearn homers in MLB debut to power Royals

Ryan O’Hearn hit a two-run home run in his Major League debut, and newly acquired Brett Phillips also hit a two-run blast as the Royals beat the White Sox, 4-2, on Tuesday in the series opener. Danny Duffy threw 5 2/3 innings of shutout ball for the Royals. Matt Davidson hit a two-run homer and James Shields allowed four runs in seven innings for the White Sox.
