O’Grady placed on DL with strained oblique

Chris O’Grady spent most of Tuesday afternoon in the training room receiving treatment on the right oblique he strained Monday. While the Marlins are waiting for the doctor to tell them how severe O’Grady’s injury is, manager Don Mattingly expects the lefty to miss significant time, as they sent the lefty to the 10-day DL on Tuesday. Reliever Javy Guerra will replace him on the active roster.
