Nunez (wrist, thumb sprain) won’t need MRI

Red Sox second baseman Eduardo Nunez left Friday’s 16-3 loss to the Orioles in the second inning with a sprained left wrist and left thumb. X-rays were negative, and based on exams done after the game, Red Sox manager John Farrell said no MRI will be needed.
