Nicholas ready to take on more responsibility
With the trade of catcher Jonathan Lucroy to Colorado, the Rangers are down to two catchers again. Robinson Chirinos will assume full-time duties, while Brett Nicholas, who was called up from Triple-A Round Rock last week, will slide into the backup role.
