Never-say-die A’s rally from 6 down to top Tigers

Jed Lowrie’s fourth hit of the night gave the A’s the lead on a night where they came back from six runs down to claim a come-from-behind victory over the Tigers at Comerica Park on Tuesday. The Tigers hit A’s starter Frankie Montas for six runs over the first three innings, but Oakland capitalized on a crucial error by John Hicks which extended the fourth inning, helping the Athletics start their comeback, which they added to on back-to-back homers from Chad Pinder and Lowrie in the fifth.
