Murphy sparks Nats with first multihit game of ’18
Daniel Murphy lined a two-out, two-run single over the head of leaping Phillies second baseman Cesar Hernandez and into right field, giving the Nationals their first lead on Sunday night as they used a three-run eighth to capture an 8-6 win at Nationals Park.
