Morrison to have season-ending hip surgery

Logan Morrison will undergo surgery on his left hip, ending his 2018 season and possibly putting a dent in his 2019 season. Morrison was placed on the 10-day disabled list on July 12 with a left hip impingement, an injury that had been lingering with him for most of the season, dating as far back as Spring Training.
