Montreal Canadiens’ Brendan Gallagher signs six-year contract extension

MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens signed forward Brendan Gallagher to a six-year contract extension worth a reported US$22.5 million on Saturday.

The deal will pay Gallagher $5.5M in 2015-16, $4.5M in 2016-17, $2.75M in 2017-18, $3M in 2018-1…
