Mets put Cespedes on DL, activate Reyes

The remainder of Yoenis Cespedes’ 2017 season is in doubt after the Mets placed the outfielder on the 10-day disabled list with a right hamstring strain, the club announced on Saturday. The club also activated infielder Jose Reyes from the disabled list, selected the contract of outfielder Travis Taijeron from Triple-A Last Vegas and optioned right-handed pitcher Kevin McGowan to Las Vegas.
