McCarthy: No excuses for rough relief outing
Dodgers right-hander Brandon McCarthy had made only three appearances because of injuries since July 20 and none in the postseason until Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium. And his performance in the 11th inning of a 7-6 loss to the Astros in Game 2 of the Fall Classic is one he’d rather forget.
