Martin, Travis HRs lift Borucki to 1st MLB win

Rookie left-hander Ryan Borucki got some run support on Friday night, firing eight innings and allowing one unearned run to notch his first career victory as the Blue Jays shut down the Mariners, 7-2, at Safeco Field. Devon Travis launched a two-run shot in the fifth inning and Russell Martin came up with a solo shot an inning prior. The Blue Jays also poured on three runs in the ninth in a rally sparked by Teoscar Hernandez’s leadoff triple.
