Marquez on the mark with career-best 9 K’s
Rockies right-hander German Marquez sliced and diced through the Dodgers’ lineup for most of Saturday afternoon, then blew hitters away to finish it. In firing a career-high-tying eight innings, Marquez held the Dodgers to one run on two hits while fanning nine in a 3-1 victory at Dodger Stadium.
