Lower back injury lands Holliday on DL
Yankees designated hitter Matt Holliday has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left lumbar strain, with the club recalling first baseman Garrett Cooper from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre prior to Sunday’s series finale against the Indians.
