Leake pitches into 9th to keep Mariners rolling

Mike Leake went eight-plus strong frames and Denard Span homered in his return to Tropicana Field as the Mariners held on in the series opener against the Rays. Seattle took a four-run lead into the ninth, but Alex Colome allowed a bases-clearing double to Johnny Field before getting the final out with Field as the potential tying run on second.
