Lawrie announces deal with Crew on Instagram

Brett Lawrie, who last played in the Majors for the White Sox in 2016, announced on Instagram that he has signed with the Brewers. Specifically, Lawrie has a Minor League deal with an option for 2020, according to a report from Robert Murray of The Athletic. The total value of the deal could reach $7 million.
