Kendrys HRs in 7th straight, 1 shy of MLB mark
Kendrys Morales established a new Blue Jays record and closed in on the all-time Major League mark when he homered in a seventh consecutive game in the third inning of Sunday’s contest against the Phillies at Rogers Centre. The homer by Morales (Monina) put him one away of the record of eight, held by three players in MLB history: Don Mattingly, Dale Long and Ken Griffey Jr.
