JV stellar as Correa’s timely hit lifts Astros in G1

Justin Verlander, who’s in the thick of the American League Cy Young Award conversation, struck out 10 batters in six scoreless innings, and George Springer and Carlos Correa homered and drove in two runs each to lead the Astros to a win in Game 1 of a doubleheader at Camden Yards on Saturday.
