Johnson, crew chief Knaus to split after season

After winning seven NASCAR Cup Series championships together, Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus won’t be a team in 2019, Hendrick Motorsports announced Wednesday. Knaus will move to William Byron’s team, with Kevin Meendering taking over Johnson’s team.
