Iginla named alternate captain

Veteran forward Jarome Iginla is the newest Colorado Avalanche alternate captain, the team announced on Wednesday.

Iginla joins fellow alternate captain Cody McLeod and team captain Gabriel Landeskog as the players that will don captain letters…
