Hughes sets K/BB record in Twins’ final home victory

Phil Hughes ended his season on a high note and set Major League Baseball’s single-season strikeout-to-walk ratio in the process, as he tossed eight strong innings to lead the Twins to a 2-1 win over the D-backs on Wednesday afternoon in the last home game of the year at Target Field.
