Herrera’s season likely over; Madson reinstated

A day after reliever Kelvin Herrera left Citi Field on crutches after suffering an injury to his left foot, the Nationals placed the right-hander on the 10-day disabled list on Monday with a torn Lisfranc ligament. The club also reinstated right-hander Ryan Madson from the DL.
