Hernandez homers, bullpen sparkles in finale
The Phillies capped a fascinating and frustrating season Sunday afternoon with a 3-1 victory over the Braves at Citizens Bank Park. Cesar Hernandez hit a leadoff home run, and Carlos Santana and Rhys Hoskins also knocked in runs. Kevin Gausman allowed three runs (two earned) in five innings. The Braves, who were playing for home-field advantage in the National League Division Series, saw their hopes vanish when the Dodgers and Rockies both won.
