Gordon tallies 1,000th career hit with Royals

Alex Gordon now has 1,000 hits for the Royals. Gordon followed a three-run homer by Billy Butler by slapping a single down the third-base line in the fifth inning on Tuesday night against D-backs left-hander Wade Miley.
