Goldy (2 HRs) leads power surge to top Reds

The D-backs belted five home runs — including two from Paul Goldschmidt — in a win over the Reds at Great American Ball Park on Sunday to avoid a sweep. Daniel Descalso started the power show of with a three-run homer in the first to back 6 2/3 innings from Zack Godley. Reds starter Luis Castillo retired 13 in a row at one point, but Cincinnati couldn’t keep up with Arizona’s attack in the finale.
