Gleyber’s 10th HR puts him in rare company

Gleyber Torres is on a home run tear in his first year as a Major League player, and the Tigers were the latest to fall victim to his powerful bat. In the third inning of a 1-0 game in Detroit, Torres tagged the Yankees’ first hit of the day off of Tigers starter Drew VerHagen for a solo home run to right field, evening the score at 1-1 on Monday afternoon in Comerica Park.
