Gibson stifles Red Sox over 8 strong innings

Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson, who remains under contract through next year but has been linked to other clubs ahead of the Trading Deadline, threw eight strong innings on a career-high 120 pitches to lift the Twins to a 2-1 win on Thursday night at Fenway Park.
