Gibson, Brown lead Marlies over Griffins to halt nine-game losing streak

TORONTO – Christopher Gibson stopped 38 shots and Connor Brown had a goal and an assist as the Toronto Marlies snapped a nine-game losing streak by doubling up the visiting Grand Rapids Griffins 4-2 on Tuesday in American Hockey League action.
