Geraint Thomas’ Tour win wasn’t expected (even by him), and that served him well

The Tour de France ended with another predicted win for Team Sky, but not by the rider most expected. Geraint Thomas seemed as confounded by his finish as anyone, a feeling this race hasn’t had a long time.
