Gentry lands on DL with broken hand; Burns recalled

The A’s placed outfielder Craig Gentry on the disabled list Monday after an MRI exam revealed a broken bone is his right hand, which was hit by a pitch on a bunt attempt on Sunday. Billy Burns was recalled from Double-A to fill the roster spot.
