Garver’s 5 RBIs back Santana’s 2018 debut

Mitch Garver posted a career high with five RBIs to help the Twins finish off a sweep of the Blue Jays. All four of Garver’s hits, including a home run in the sixth inning, produced at least one run. Ervin Santana allowed three runs with five strikeouts over five innings in his season debut after undergoing finger surgery. The Twins posted six runs with two outs in the 11th to run away from Toronto, including a go-ahead hit by pitch for Max Kepler.
