Garver enjoys career night in 1st start off DL

In his first start since suffering a concussion on a foul tip while catching on Sept. 12, Mitch Garver helped alleviate any concerns about his injury with a career night at the plate against the White Sox. Playing first base after being ruled out from catching again this season, Garver collected four hits and set a career high with six RBIs to carry the Twins to a 12-4 victory in Game 2 of Friday’s split doubleheader at Target Field.
