Friars add three September callups
The Padres on Monday took advantage of the expanded rosters by adding three players to the club for the season’s final month. The team selected right-handed pitcher Leonel Campos and infielder Cory Spangenberg from Double-A San Antonio, and recalled left-hander Robbie Erlin from Triple-A El Paso.
