Rockies lefty Kyle Freeland endured a long, and at times remedial, education before graduating back into the win column Tuesday night. Freeland had gone 12 starts — 16 appearances — without a win before buzzing the Padres on three hits over seven innings of a 8-0 victory on another cold night at Coors Field.
