Familiar foes set to open NLDS in Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Dodgers had the best record in Major League Baseball this season, have won five consecutive National League West division titles and are entering October with the mantra that anything less than the franchise’s first World Series title since 1988 will be a disappointment. But right away, they’re going to have to get through a very tough and very familiar opponent — the Arizona Diamondbacks — in their first postseason matchup.
