Escobar’s triple boosts Ventura to victory

Any trouble for Yordano Ventura stopped after he allowed a leadoff homer, as the Royals rookie bounced back and manhandled the Twins in Kansas City’s 6-3 win Thursday. Alcides Escobar headlined a tiebreaking seventh inning with a game-winning, two-run triple.
