Escobar placed on DL with oblique strain

Angels third baseman Yunel Escobar landed on the 10-day disabled list for the second time this season on Tuesday after being diagnosed with a mild Grade 1 right oblique strain. He is expected to miss 2-3 weeks, the club announced.
