Devers returns from DL, readies for stretch run

The Red Sox returned third baseman Rafael Devers from his rehab assignment with Short-A Lowell and activated him from the 10-day disabled list on Wednesday. To make room for Devers on the 25-man roster, infielder Tony Renda was optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket following Tuesday night’s game.
