Desmond donates $29K to charity

The month of May is Neurofibromatosis (NF) Awareness Month. Ian Desmond and his family pledged $1,000 to the Children’s Tumor Foundation for each of his RBIs and runs scored in May. And after scoring 14 times and driving in 15 runs last month, Desmond presented a $29,000 check to the Children’s Tumor Foundation in a pregame ceremony on Saturday at Coors Field.
