deGrom open to contract extension with Mets
The Mets briefly discussed an extension earlier this offseason with pitcher Jacob deGrom, its most successful starting pitcher in 2017. While the talks never progressed to a serious level, deGrom on Thursday indicated a willingness to keep them going.
