deGrom fires gem, breaks a Doc Gooden record

With six innings of one-run ball against the Dodgers on Monday night, Mets ace Jacob deGrom completed his 25th consecutive start allowing three runs or fewer, breaking Dwight Gooden’s Major League record and setting up a game-winning homer by pinch-hitter Brandon Nimmo.
