Cubs win challenge of home-plate collision rule
The Cubs’ fifth-inning rally was nearly cut short when Albert Almora Jr. was called out at the plate on Anthony Rizzo’s flyout to left field. However, the Cubs challenged the call, and after a replay review, the ruling was overturned and the Cubs took a 4-1 lead.
