Cubs not rushing to unload youth in big trade
With front-end starting pitching as their Hot Stove priority, the Cubs know they could come up empty-handed. But should they fail to add an arm like Jon Lester, Max Scherzer or James Shields through free agency, don’t expect them to immediately attempt to trade for an ace.
