Cubs fall in 10 with bats held to Baez’s blast

Javier Baez is one swing closer to his first 30-homer season, hitting his 29th of the year, but it wasn’t enough to help the Cubs beat the Phillies. Asdrubal Cabrera smacked a walk-off homer with one out in the 10th inning off Steve Cishek to lift the Phillies to a 2-1 win over the Cubs on a rainy Friday night at Citizens Bank Park.
