Cubs avoid arbitration with Coghlan, Castillo, Arrieta
The Cubs avoided arbitration Friday with Jake Arrieta, Welington Castillo and Chris Coghlan. The Cubs signed Arrieta to a one-year, $3.63 million contract, agreed to a one-year, $2.1 million deal with Castillo, and signed Coghlan to a one-year, $2.505 million contract.
