Cordero displays power, pop in bid for roster spot
It’s still early, but Franchy Cordero could be playing his way toward a roster spot. In three games this spring, he’s 3-for-8 with a pair of homers and a walk. During the offseason, Cordero earned MVP honors in the Dominican Winter League. He raked at Triple-A last year, too, batting .325 with 22 home runs.
